Hi Ed, Haven't tried to buy one , though tempted. Techmoan may be the best source of info re sellers, he seems to have his finger on the pulse.

This is a cut n paste from his blog. Are you sure the one you looked at isn't the same thing as in the review? It does appear to be according to the clip below.

@Carlos. The product info you mention on Chinavasion is the same as the one I link to at the base of the review. It is the same camera I reviewed....and yes, it is a good camera (in my opinion).

P.S. I doubt you remember, but I had a cup of tea at your house a few years back when I came up for the LCC. Pretty sure I remember right?

I watched again the animation. Very interesting the different lines of Penso and Prinz/Morgenthaler on the race to ESS/goal and all the whole field along the course.

Still very close in the top of the overall ranking. Not sure whom I should keep my fingers crossed. As a german I'm closer to the swiss guy but on the other hand, Caron is second - again :shocked: . Caron was two times second on the PWC-Tour (first time in 2001!) and two times third of the tour. He was also second at the Worlds 2007. so he deserves a big international title finally.

Have a nice last short task, thanks to all pilots, all bloggers/video-makers and the tech. staff of PWCA for making it possible that I can follow the race 10.000km away from Mexico in time and analyzing them afterwards. If we now manage to reduce the number of reserve rides from ~7% of the pilots to nearly zero, all will be happy. May the best pilot win - or whatever FTV calculates.

Did you find anywhere in the UK selling these? Chinavision shows but only sems to list the older yellow version. Did a search but only seemed available from the US. Pity no remote operation.

Looked easier than that, just a gentle tug and the reserve literally fell on the floor.
Disclaimer: I was only seeing it as a 3rd party, so I'm not sure how tight the reserve was packed, etc.

Had a chance to demo some flights on the Gin Fluid 11 and looking forward to taking it to the mountains! I was very impressed with the ease of ground launching this wing in no wind up to about 8mph during demo flights.The landing's had no wind.What a joy to fly! Fly it steep or flatten it out : )) You make the choice!

The slitboard play is on the Gin Yak : )

You don't need to be particularly fit to ride a motorbike, or to paraglide (unless you have to hike up big hills to fly.) I guess they're similar in the fact that you can hurt yourself badly doing both!

I'm sure there are some good schools near you. You're probably not too far from Andrew Pearse in Dorset and Flying Frenzy School. Very good guy and great instructor. Check out his web site. It tells you all about the training and licencing.

He might even be able to find you a good and suitable secondhand wing, when you need it. But you you don't need one when you're training as you use the school wings, which are suitable for your weight and experience level. But please don't buy one from Flea Bay, you maybe be chucking your money away on something totally unsuitable.

P.S. I think Andrew is taking a group to Greolieres, France this coming week, so won't be in the office.

I live in north somerset

I know theres club in wales and gwent. I have hear they fly hang glider on brent knoll and theres a microlight club in westonzoyland? but microlight need license etc

I have a license to ride motorcycles! if the fittness is kind of like motorcycle for a paraglider?

the paragliding gear is on a proper website and fully approved too! but its up to the pilot. I don't think afew dvds and youtube is going to do it.

I am more that happy to do training with an high experienced pilot with lots of hours in the air too, over no training any day!
